ShoreScan Solutions is a business unit of The Carlsen Group, Inc., a Stevensville-based company founded in 2005. We are members of the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce and hold an A Rating with The Maryland Better Business Bureau. ShoreScan is a vendor member of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association and supports the Maryland Municipal League.

	Ken Carlsen is the President and owner of ShoreScan Solutions, a division of The Carlsen Group (a Maryland corporation established in 2005). He graduated from Rowan University in 1991 and now lives in Stevensville, Maryland, with his family enjoying sports, boating, church and community events.
	Mayor Henry of Secretary, Maryland, and Ken Carlsen of ShoreScan Solutions enjoyed a reunion at the Maryland Municipal League Convention in Ocean City, Maryland. The Town of Secretary has been a satisfied ShoreScan Solutions client for over a year. ShoreScan Solutions attended the Anne Arundel County Bar Association weekend attorney retreat in Richmond, Virginia at the historic Jefferson Hotel. Kim Mallory and Ken Carlsen demonstrated system functionality and a variety of scanners used with the service. ShoreScan Solutions’ Ken Carlsen teamed up with the VFW and Elks of Kent Island to raise $4,000 for the Matapeake Middle School Band.

As a 2 year supporter of the Maryland Municipal League, ShoreScan Solutions president Ken Carlsen was selected to carve the turkey at the 75th Anniversary gala at the Cambridge Hyatt this fall.
